Real talk, though – I have to borrow money this upcoming month to make my next car payment and it’s been made very clear that’s not an option for the month after. I’m not selling enough books to maintain a car payment, let alone my health & car insurance payments. I don’t want to lose my car; I’m like 5 payments away from paying it off for good, and the thought of losing it now after all these years of payments terrifies me.

I really, really would appreciate a reblog if you can spare it. My books are good. I know they’re good. I believe 100% their sales can pay my bills, and I’m working so hard to get even more out for sale as fast as I possibly can.

I just need more people to see them. I almost hate asking this way, because I do believe they can sell on their own merit, but it takes time and it’s time I suddenly don’t have. So thank you for any sort of support you can give me, whether it’s checking a book out, reviewing, helping out on Patreon, or just reblogging this post so more people can know the books exist.

I can totally vouch for Greyliliy being a fantastic author, and I really recommend Children of Hephaestus if you like horror or explorations of the boundaries between robot and person.  It’s gripping and creepy and awesome.

I forgot to put this up on the 4th . 

This is one of my favorite cats from the Sacramento County Animal Shelter in CA. His name is Bear. He has been at the shelter for about 2 months and I dont know WHY.

This cat is the manliest cat , huge, cuddly, but with the squeak like a mouse. He will stand down a dog, follow you everywhere , and basically be your best friend. Look at that mustache.

He dosnt like dogs tho. But he will make up for it by being your dog instead lol. He is pretty good with other cats though. 

So if you or anyone you know wants a great companion teddybear cat and lives in the Sacramento CA area (or willing to come here to get him) he is still here waiting. (as of 11:30am 7/17/2015)

BTW Fridays is $5 for any cat over 1yr old , and Bear qualifies. It includes his surgery and shots

So since my bike got stolen I figured rather than mope about it any longer I’d open commissions to get a new one!

I’ll draw pretty much anything (feel free to ask!), the prices are as specified above. Complex backgrounds are going to cost more depending on how detailed you want them, but I’m pretty flexible with the price.

I use my bike to get around every day and I really don’t know what to do without it, so I’d like to get a new one asap. Any help is super appreciated, thank you in advance!

EDIT: forgot to say that payment is through paypal. Please write me an ask stating what you want for your commission and I’ll let you know the price etc. (I’ll outline a rough sketch, you don’t have to pay until you’re satisfied with the sketch and I’ll finish the rest of the commission after I’ve received the payment)

UPDATE! I have fixed my computer (The CPU at least) but I am still poor and desperate.

Okay I finally got the courage to put this up. I taking commission work you guys *Fireworks*

Right…I can draw anything you like, it doesn’t have to be X-men or comic books related, yet have in mind that’s the style I am most comfortable with, I also have no problem drawing nudes, but I would rather not to draw anything NSFW, I am quite awful drawing animals, however I can try; if there is any doubt of what can, won’t or will do drop me a message. 

The prices in USD are the following; I will update later with examples.

*This are the base prices, they might go up if the request is too complicated or down depending on your personality.

**The criteria of drawing more than one character would be doubling the price, but it also depends on the complexity of the request.

-My artwork is DIGITAL, which means you are paying of the digital drawing. I won’t be sending Prints or sketches; I don’t mind you printing the art, for non-commercial use only. 

-I won’t be displaying the final pieces online if you don’t want to, but I would use them for personal purposes if feel like to.

-The payment can be through Paypal, but I will gratefully take Amazon’s Giftcards as well (Venezuelans will know)

-It should take me no longer than two weeks to finish a piece, but time may vary depending if can find coffee on the store (Venezuelans will know)

-I will receive the payment AFTER I am done, because my tablet is behaving weird and might faint at any moment, is one the reason I doing this.

-All the profits will be used on the buying of a new tablet to keep drawing, or candy, which I eat while drawing.

Okay, folks. The comic blogging and jokes will resume in a bit, got something serious to talk about right now.

I live at home, and I work for my dad. Our shop isn’t doing very well right now and we’re going into summer, the slowest season for bicycling in Florida. We’ve been in debt for a while because of the business, my mum and dad’s respective medical bills, the second mortgage, etc, but it’s all coming to a head.

If we don’t come up with $6200 by July 9th, we lose the house.

We’ve lived here since 1997, almost 20 years. I know for a fact that we can’t go to family for financial assistance, and if my dad declares bankruptcy, there’s a good chance he’ll lose the business. $6200 won’t get us out of debt, or make the shop liven up, but it’ll make sure we’ve got a place to live.

I’m going to put together a list of comics, books, and figures I’m selling to hopefully pull in a few hundred dollars. I’ve also been told that I should make a GoFundMe, but I’m going to have to discuss that with my parents first…and then probably do it anyway. 

We have three dogs, two cats, and both my parents have health problems (a permanently pinched nerve in his shoulder and heart arrhythmia for dad, arthritis, extreme joint pain, and high blood pressure for mum), not to mention that we’ve only had one car for the past two months. My family cannot be homeless right now.

You always see posts and stories about people dealing with impending homelessness and think, well, surely that won’t happen to me. I spent my high school years working at a homeless shelter. I’ve seen friends have houses go into foreclosure. My best friend chose pride over help and was homeless for several weeks until her health problems landed her in the hospital, and I cannot see the same thing happen to my parents, or to me.

The people of this community have been generous before, and I don’t doubt they’ll be generous again. Expect to see an updated post with more information later tonight. As it is, my current PayPal address is touch_of_grey37@hotmail.com.
