So why why why why why do artists ALWAYS depict people kissing him on the scarf/bandages? How is that the LEAST bit romantic? That boy still has some face left so won’t you please let him get shown affection in a way that would make sense for him and make him feel loved and comfortable?
But it’s only a normal kiss if it’s on the mouth, I guess.

I feel like a lot of artist/writers forget he’s literally missing his lower jaw ‘cause they always draw him with a jawline? This might be part of the problem. I remember thinking the bottom half of his face was probably just charred or something when I was a kid. Before I realized his psi-fire wasn’t hot and didn’t burn stuff.
Hatsume Mei should make Tensei a jet powered wheelchair. I kinda feel like she owes the Iida’s after that stunt with Tenya at the sports festival. Plus? That’s good advertising!

yeah, a common theme I was trying to get was that the quotes all touch on self-loathing, while also not getting too detailed and intimate as to what that self-loathing is about.
Can I just say I was impressed that Eye Boy recognized Smith lyrics in the first place? It doesn’t seem like the type of music Trevor would listen to. Also, how long was he staring in order to read it? Hah hah.
I’m breaking my “keep the rp and personal blogs separate!” rule and wading into the fray here. I love all those suggestions. But how much you wanna bet it’s “How Soon Is Now?” Because how likely is it that the average teenager would recognize the lyrics just from a glance?

But even more intriguing to me: what’s the hive mind’s thoughts on the timing of said tattoo? Is it a mopey post-powers coping mechanism? A desire fulfilled after years of wanting it? Oh, my. They mostly involve long dead characters not actually being dead. Like Everett and Angelo escaped Necrosha and are just quietly living under the radar until the X-Men get their act together.
I’ve been thinking about this now for days! The thing is, I’m not terribly good at remembering actors and I don’t generally fan cast. I can tell you who I’ve liked for Kurt. I thought Adian Hough (from the original X-Men animated series) was good. I mean, they only gave him one episode but sounded like ‘Crawler to me. Liam O’Brien (from Wolverine and The X-Men) worked well for me too.
For Jono? You know I’ve ‘heard’ his voice since Gen X #1 in my head but I’ll be damned if I’ve found an actor that struck me as Jono. Thanks to the 90′s cartoon I always imagine telepaths have a weird echo to their mental voices so it’s got a bit of that going on. It’s not a terribly deep voice but it might be a little ragged sounding. That probably has more with how Jono feels about himself than what he sounded like pre-accident.
Annnd now I’m made myself sad.
Oh! I can tell you one precasted voice that totally didn’t work for me. Northstar in the 90′s X-Men. Oh, lordy, no. It was, like, super high and just not what I imagined at all for him. No offense to the original voice actor. I also thought Sabretooth and Pyro’s were a bit…off.
Joker’s nerves being shot so he’d basically impervious to pain but also doesn’t really feel much else either.

Harley lovingly tending to a plant that Ivy gave her only to have Joker ‘accidentally’ kill it. The next day a larger, prettier plant has replaced it.
Going dancing at The Iceberg Lounge. Ordering everything on the menu and then bailing just to piss off Ozzy.

Somehow, that never even occurred to me. Obviously Arize is already making Mojoverse-ers. Why not a Rictor and Shatty mix? He had Ric for God knows how long. Long enough for him to grow that groovy beard. And ‘Star is apparently the genetic foundation of all the Cadre. Thanks for that, PAD…
