Yuri Katsuki is back for a new Nendoroid release in his casual winter clothes! In addition to his apparel, he comes with a bottle of sake and a drunk expression so you can recreate some of the memorable scenes from the show.
Sigh… I might have known…. these are the disco variant minifigures based on the musical number at the end of The LEGO Batman Movie. (as well as the briefly seen Nightwing outfit Dick briefly tries on)
So of course, the ONLY way to get them is to buy the new Joker Manor set which is retailing at $270 US….. sigh..
Though I find myself concerned that Damian would be seen as appropriate for this. If he’s not overtly sexualised, then fair enough, but they have a lot less leeway with him than the others IMHO.
I’m still trying to figure out if Jason’s white streak is still canon or not.
Jason has a rather unusual metagene power; his hair is sensitive to drama in the narrative. If it would be more visually striking to have the streak, it will appear for as long as required, then it will fade away… or vice versa, no-one’s sure any more.
(Personally I’d always have left it in. it’s a nice quick visual distinction between him and Bruce or Dick, the grown up members of the Batclan, otherwise they do run the risk of being very same-y looking (Jason is close to Dick in general looks, and close to Bruce in build)

Sorta surprised they’re making Damian. I thought the sexy poses would be reserved for the adult characters…
He’s definitely my most ambitious knitted action figure so far.
He has an internal armature to make him poseable (after I got to play with @knitpool‘s Guy I had to give that a go for myself), a full set of clothes right down to socks and underpants and my first attempts at non-knitted shoes (not bad but can be improved on), and hat making. White on white stitching is hard to see but he has body hair and eyebrows but, much as @bethama tried to encourage me, I stopped short of knitting individual fingers and having to sew teeny tiny little gloves. It’s not that I couldn’t do it, I just really didn’t want to!*
He’s mostly made from stash items, the only things I bought specifically for him were the armature and stuff for his hat. (Ever since I made Dracula I wondered what I’d do with the remaining 95% of the skein of white wool I’d bought to make his hair.)
Least fun part? Measuring, measuring and measuring again and getting ridiculously stressed over whether or not clothes were actually going to fit him.
Most fun part? The poncho, because that’s when he really started to look like Caliban.
* It’s hard enough to get a tiny hand in a tiny mitten, wrestling teeny fingers into teeny glove fingers is waaaaaay more effort than it’s worth.
Excuse me for encouraging people to reach for the stars and realize their artistic potential, geez.
Well, well. Look who it is. I’d been half hoping for new ‘Star since he has no toys but this sorta jives with the Disco Dazzler they’re releasing from the same line.
He’s the build-a-figure but unfortunately i don’t want to buy all the other figures so you’ll all just have to send me Warlocks limbs. Come on people, first to send me warlocks pants gets a drawing.
How much is it gonna cost to buy all the parts?? Σ（・□・；）
I can only assume Warlock’s going to be roughly around the same price. I’m doing a god damn limb drive.
