As for questions: Were there any plans to expand upon Roxy and Cessily’s relationship?
Had the book been the 16 issues we set out to do, yes. But only in the sense that Cessily would’ve been around more. Because my goal with Roxy from the beginning was to give her a story that wasn’t solely about her sexuality, because I felt like that was the ONLY story people had been telling with her for a while now.
But yeah. I would’ve loved to have some more Cessily/girlfriends moments in there if we’d had the time. I really would’ve enjoyed doing a small Nathaniel, Roxy, Cessily B story.
I would have loved to read that.
what is Marvel looking for in it’s X-men students books? It keeps starting them and then cancelling them

I know it’s been a super long time.
this past year has been tough for me to say the least, but I am slowly beginning to get back in whatever game I was playing.
so here is a little warmup I did of my version of Generation X
featuring Chance (from Fallen Angels), Mondo, M, Jubilee, Chamber and Husk.

Mostly by having Jono appear in the first few pages.
Not too keen on the art. This is… one of the better pages, to be honest.
And then we have the whole “you should never ever EVER put an actual year to anything because Comics exist on a sliding time scale” thing cropping up in the book. Dear writers: just DON’T do it. It never ends well.
I have to say, I do enjoy Jono using a regular ol’ scarf to cover the flaming crater that is the bottom half of his face. And Shogo being amused by his power is precious.
