hi everyone! i decided to make a commissions post just so its up and there for reference! i dont know if theyre considered emergency commissions or just normal commissions but!! TL:DR: i was diagnosed with cancer a little less than a year ago and have to go to my screening to see if the cancer has returned but cant afford it! these commissions will help me ensure that my cancer hasn’t returned! links/more info on how to help are down below! ( as well as pictures )
As It’s pride month I thought i’d throw out another post about @mothgirlcomic
Moth Girl is about love through metamorphosis, solidarity through change, and the benefit of being a moth when everyone wants you to be a butterfly. – It also has two bisexual main characters! In fact it has a whole cast of LGBT characters!
It’s a slice of life about queer stuff and families, whether adopted/fostered/found!
* Al is a grumpy, short, moth enthusiast living at home with their mum and sister and works at the local mechanic shop doing their accounts and payroll. They’re hopelessly in love with Rhette and doesn’t know if the feeling is mutual. You have to be level 10 friendship to unlock Al’s tragic backstory.
Rhette is new to the mechanic shop, having been there little over a week when our story starts. He’s currently living with his two best friends having been kicked out for ‘liking men’. He also really likes cowboys and is working his way up to Al’s level 10 friendship. The feeling is also mutual.
* @mothgirlcomic is currently at 2 chapters with 40 pages. I’m working on Chapter 3 at the moment and i’m hoping to start posting new pages in a few weeks!
This project was originally started by myself and Maggie aka @anightvaleintern who died in february very unexpectedly. I decided to carry on the comic for her and so none of her hard work goes to waste. So now it’s just me with input from various friends so it’s taking a little bit longer than it would have.
(Currently Tapastic updates once a chapter is complete so if you prefer to hoard pages and read it all at once then that might be a better option!)
– As external links aren’t currently working on tumblr, please click through to the page for more link etc.
I found this sketchbook in a restaurant and It may be impossible but I want to find the author.
The sketchbook was found in El Albaicín, Granada, Spain and I think the artist isn’t Spanish, maybe a Chinese tourist or someone who are learning Chinese but who knows u_u
In the drawings you can see some monuments of differents sites of Spain, that’s why I think she/he could be a tourist D:
I already tweeted it and a lot of people are sharing (all my love for you guys<3) but I want to try to find him/her here too
F.A.Q:
–
Did you ask the restaurant staff if they know it?: I’m the restaurant staff, I work there and we can’t remember who is the owner, sorry
– Did you use the reverse image search in Google?: Yes, I do and got nothing u_u
– Can you check the CCTV?: Em… no… We don’t have it in the terrace and my boss would never let me see them
–
What you could do is put a note at the door of the restaurant saying ‘have you lost…?’ : I’m the only one in the restautrant who cares about this and again my boss would never let me do that.
–
If they are a tourist and you just found it recently, they are probably still travelling and might not check their social media as often: Yes, I know, but maybe someone can
recognize his/her style or something
Please, just share and help me to find him/her ;_;
Maggie Davidson loved, lived and worked in Lubbock, Texas. She was a vibrant and creative soul who cared for family and friends, volunteered her time and money to help battered women and LGBT teens and was a champion of those individuals that couldn’t speak for themselves.
In lieu of flowers, Maggie’s parents have asked if people could donate to the charities that are important to her: MADD, Planned Parenthood, The Trevor Project, the ACLU.
This is her page for Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
This is Captain Sherbet. We love her to bits and she is absolutely the best cat we could hope to have!
Since we adopted her this summer, however, she’s been sick half a dozen times with GI problems. After several tests that turned up nothing, the vet now believes that she has Inflammatory Bowel Disease and needs to do an endoscopy on her. Unfortunately, it’s going to be expensive.
To help fund the procedure, I’m going to be doing a live-stream event this Saturday, Feb. 11th, starting at noon (PST).
Starting today, any donation of $10 or more gets a drawing like one of these–live on Picarto!
What a great deal, huh? You get cool art and you get to help Captain Sherbet!
I am opening up for a limited slate of commissions in return for donations to the ACLU (or other orgs that are fighting the good fight right now – if you’ve got one that’s important to you, go for it.)
How it works.
For donations of 5.00-25.00, you send me a copy of your receipt of donation (you can blank out your personal info), and I will do a bw bust sketch (like Jack here) of your chosen resistance fighter.
For 25.00-50.00, I’ll do two characters. ^_^v
Because of the nature of these sketches, there’s no proof cycle – so you’ll have to trust me. 😀 (for an OC, make sure to link me a reference)
Five slots at first (because I’m getting over surgery and pneumonia), and I’ll reblog this as it fills up. You have 48 hours between reserving a slot and getting me your proof of donation.
On the off chance more than five people take me up on this, I will waitlist an additional five.
