Pros of being a Fandom Old:
– never have to worry about my mom finding out about my porn fic
– have seen it all before and give few if any fucks
Cons of being a Fandom Old:
– forced to work at actual job instead of writing fic all day
– have seen it all before and get regular “ugh not again” moments
u ever have on mutuals whos so deep in another fandom that u know absolutely zero about and they make posts that look like they speaking another language or some shit
i really appreciate the number of mutuals who are not in any of my fandoms sharing this post. its like a little hello nod as we pass each other in the hall

You start reading comics sporadically, or following just one title. You still have no idea what’s going on, but now you’d like to.
You read comics obsessively and follow several titles as well as back issues. Wednesday is the highlight of your week. You still have no idea what’s going on.
You resent the fact that you have to buy so many titles and read so many issues to get the proper context for any given storyline. Wednesday is the worst day of your week and your wallet cries for mercy. You still have no idea what the hell is going on in comics.
You stop reading comics. Return to stage one and repeat the cycle.
