I hope you are your cheery self despite this past two weeks’ rain. You can always manage a smile in any situation, it is a skill which I admire.
I wanted to thank you for your caring attitude towards me. You have been supportive of me over the years, and I do not think I thanked you properly. Even in the smallest ways, making sure I was fed and ready for class, you cared for me when I could not care for myself. I am grateful for your friendship.
I ask you to excuse about how late this letter was written, but I wanted to tell you nonetheless that your support has been invaluable to me.
