I actually like it when his lips aren’t always red. I’m rather attached to the idea of him having this bizarre beauty regimen. Also, I think Miller’s Dark Knight Returns got it in my head that he wears makeup so when I read that in my formative years it sorta stuck as canon.

That is an enormous compliment! Alan Davis’ ‘Crawler is my absolute fav. I’ve definitely styled my Kurt after his- though I don’t think I draw nearly as well!
